New Year, New You

With the end of another trying year coming to an end, at Osprey Leisure Club, we think it’s time to say goodbye to 2021 and start 2022 on a really good foot. This year we’re focusing on helping to build a healthier you with self-care at the top of our list of New Year Resolutions. We offer a range of membership options in Osprey Leisure Club ranging from day passes to annual, full-access memberships. We’re also starting a dedicated semi-private personal training timetable open to everyone, gym member or not.

New Year Resolutions

New Year’s resolutions each year range from reading more to improving your health and everything in between. Many of us pledge to eat better or move more or stop smoking in the interest of improving our health but we don’t know where to start. No need to wait until January to kick start your fitness journey this year. Osprey Leisure Club are starting semi-private personal training in Kildare from November so you can get a head start and our 2022 intake begins on 10th January.

Semi-Private Personal Training Kildare

Osprey Leisure Club recognises the need for a top quality semi-private personal training service in the Kildare area run by talented and experienced trainers. This premium service helps members to achieve their personal fitness goals by following a step by step program in a small group environment. Our small group sessions offer two classes per week with a maximum of 6 people per class thought by our instructors Daryl and Gemma. Included in the price are three weeks of intensive training on Monday & Wednesday evenings at 6pm, a personalised nutrition plan, continuous support from our professionals. You get out what you put in to this programme so make sure to put maximum effort into every class.

Week one classes include measurements and a weigh in so you can track your results. The classes will be a mixture of cardio, strength & conditioning, and movement. By the end of the four weeks, you should feel fitter with more energy, able to perform important movements like squat, deadlift and chest press safely and to your level of ability so you can carry on your training once the private sessions finish. In the last session we will measure and weigh you again so you can see for yourself the results of your hard work.

November term starts: Week of 8th November

January term starts: Monday 10th January

Why should you choose semi-private training over a gym? One word: accountability. Many people struggle to train alone and would rather skip a class over a night on the couch. Training in a group, especially one with such intense training over such a short period, means you are fully accountable for your actions both inside and outside of the group.
