Covid-19 update from Osprey Leisure Club

Our health & safety team are currently liaising with the HSE and will continue to do so to ensure we are implementing all government/HSE guidelines in relation to COVID-19 safety measures. The health and safety of our customers and staff is our number one priority. Based on the HSE guidelines our Leisure Centres are remaining open with some activities suspended and others restricted.

The HSE has advised that swimming pools are rendered safe by maintaining the appropriate levels of chlorine and have advised the adherence to current recommended disinfection practice is sufficient to inactivate COVID-19 virus in chlorinated drinking water and swimming pools.

SWIMMING POOL & LESSONS

The swimming pool will remain open, however all adult and childrens’ swimming lessons including Swim Academy will be POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE with immature effect. All lessons that have been postponed will be rescheduled as soon as the safety of customers and staff can be assured.

HEALTH SUITES

We are closing our saunas, steam rooms and jacuzzis with immediate effect.

FITNESS CLASSES

Some fitness classes will go ahead implementing the 1-metre minimum separation rule. However, due to space restrictions classes on some sites will need to be cancelled or relocated. All timetables will be kept up to date online and onsite.

GYM & FACILITIES

Our Leisure Centres will remain open with a minimum 1-metre separation rule. Every second piece of cardio equipment on the gym floor will be made unavailable to ensure the distance between each member exercising. We are implementing the appropriate sanitising and safety procedures in the gym and are monitoring the occupancy levels on all of our sites in line with the recommended guidelines.

We would ask all customers to adhere to these guidelines and thank you for your continued support.

We will continue to take advice from the HSE.
